Privacy information

This page describes the reading features currently built into Daddy Arm Storytime. Questions can be sent by a parent or caregiver to hello@daddyarmstorytime.com.

No reader account required

The public story library does not ask children to create accounts, enter their names, upload photos, or submit stories. We have not added advertising trackers or a third-party audience analytics tool to the reading experience.

Reading preferences

The site uses browser local storage to remember book positions and the selected narrator preference. These features do not send that saved reading history to a Daddy Arm account or database. The current page also appears in the book’s URL, so a link you share can include that page number. Sleep-timer settings stay in the open reader and are not saved between visits.

Hosting and audio services

The website is hosted with ChatGPT Sites. Hosting and network providers may process technical connection information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies.

Read-aloud speech uses the browser’s speech service. Depending on the browser and selected voice, speech may be provided on the device or through that provider’s service. The feature reads the published story text; it does not record your microphone. Music playback does not request microphone access.

Email

If you email us, your email address and the information you include are handled through our email service so we can respond and address the issue. Please do not send children’s names, photos, addresses, school information, or other personal details. A parent or caregiver may contact us to request deletion of an email they sent.

Changes

We will update this information when the site’s data features change. Parents & help explains the reading controls and how to report a problem.
